Part I - Fredericia
Our summer holidays started off in my childhood town of Fredericia, Denmark, where my parents still live. The town is full of history, including the largest remaining ramparts in Northern Europe.
I have spent countless hours playing on these ramparts as a kid, so it is obviously very special to me when my own kids are also having fun there.
In the early 20th century, when the ramparts had lost their military significance, a Water Tower was built in what is obviously the highest point in town
